  • Marillion.com box set

    I got the box set early from the band and its pretty good. It has a live video from their 1999 concert tour and another audio recording of another show from that era. I also have not watched the documentary yet, but I am generally happy to support the band.

    Glad to see another Marillion fan here. I saw them in 2022 and 2025, or thereabouts. The 2022 show was incredible. The 2025 show was short and
    not great - it was the first stop on their tour and it felt off.

    On their web site, they have something called "Front Row Club"
    recordings - you can buy live CDs made from the mixing board of their
    live shows. I was able to buy a recording of the shows I went to.

    It's nice to hear a raw, live performance without two people talking
    behind you, yelling to be heard over the music. :)

    I want to see them, but the problem is I am worried I will be stranded in Aylesburry by the time the show ends for me to catch a train back to London. I do want to see them live. I will be in the United Kingdom from September 11 to the 22nd.

    I have been listening to them since late 1997/early 1998. Thanks to Dream Theater including them on their live vhs documentary of their tour.

    I'll have to check that out. I'd love to hear Steve Hogarth in his
    prime.

    And, Steve Rothery is one of the most under-rated guitarists around.
