  • 2000s/early 2010s Digital Camcorders?

    This has been a journey I've been going on since finding my childhood Samsung HMX W200BN, but I've wanted something else. Recently, I acquired a 2008 Sanyo Xacti VPC E2, but I hate the compression and the poor battery life issues common to those camcorders... I've spent quite a while looking through forums and ancient reviews and all I'm seeing leads me toward HDD camcorders or MiniDV, even if I'd prefer something with SD. But from my experiences until some time ago SD camcorders heavily compressed videos... Are there any decent SD card based camcorders from before the mid 2010s that y'all would suggest? Am very hopeful someone here has any opinion on this matter :-)
