Congrats on a great documentary. I watched this on YT a few months back. There was another called, BBS: The Documentary, also quite good.

    Hey Mortar,

Thanks for that - yes, BBS: The Documentary was 'the' definitive documentary on BBSes. The main thing over Jason's documentary vs mine is that his felt like a goodbye (what with the 'switching the power off' bit towards the end of the series). My documentary is called Back to the BBS because it's looking at the revival in modern years, especially enabled by internet-telnettable boards; the best of both worlds IMO.

    Cheers,
    Al

Speaking of, got a few new DoorParty signups from your last video, and I had no idea why until someone mentioned in their application that they saw *my* video about DoorParty. Was super confused until they explained and I watched it. Pretty neat, thank you for the shout-out. I apologize that the first door you tried locked your session up haha. I'll look into fixing it now though!

EDIT: I just checked, and it works okay. I think maybe it was just the ANSI palette for that game didn't translate well for your terminal/code page? Not sure.
