needing a 386 to work & was just taking up space. 3 - I have no idea
why, but I just could not get anything that provided network drives
to work. I tried XFS, Lantastic the novell netware client for DOS
& none of them could successfully mount network drives when running
in Freedos.
i am curious if anyone uses this os on their old systems
I know! The defragger of all things! How rude!
That's a negative. Actually never seen it.
I am using FreeDOS on two systems.
A 1995 desktop with a Pentium processor and 32 MB memory.
A 2005 laptop with a Pentium-M processor and 512 MB memory.
They are both networked through a serial port and sneakernet.
I use FreeDOS because i like that it comes with source code.SAME! <3 <3 <3 <3
