I saw The English beat earlier this year ("Featuring Dave Wakeling" as
Ranking Roger passed, sadly) and that dude can still rock.

April 24th 2024 at The Greek in Berkeley (sold out already!): A 60th
Birthday Celebration for Maynard James Keenan -- SESSANTA: Primus,
    Puscifer, A Perfect Circle.

    May have to StubHub that...

Steve Hackett sounds like a winning choice.

So many people turning 60 plus now. I remember listening to Primus like 25 years ago.

Where did you see him? I've seen him in one form or another 5 times now I think.

Twice at Lost 80's Live in Dallas in 2022 as The English Beat and then in 2023 as General Public. Saw them in Norwich, UK in 2023 also. That was the first time. Got right on the rail front and center. Great show. Then saw them twice in California in October...and that's another story. Met Dave in Norwich, Dallas and California. He's a great, down to earth guy. He always has a story about the tour bus!

Seen him a few times too. First time we flew to Portland, Oregon to see him do Selling England by the Pound. Such a great show, unfortunately we were so tired from a late night and a long trip I was having trouble keeping awake during the first part of the show. So went to see him in Northampton, MA. Another great show and got out of there 2 days before everything was grounded due to covid.

Next time to see him was St Louis. Finally he's coming to Dallas too. Maybe we're finally getting on the map. Great musicians, Roger is a beast on the keyboards and makes it look so easy.

I regret sleeping thru half of a Deep Purple concert in 1998.

I can understand that. I almost slept through Joe Jackson too but that was more for my wife. :)
