    SOAPBOX:

KW4NJA - My very first NAQCC Sprint. Only had about 30 minutes to operate, but it was lots of fun!!! The ole straight key needs to come out more, I do know that!!!

N2QFD - Only time for a few before getting ready for work and heading to bed. I try and post all NAQCC activities to the fsxNet via my BBS at queencitybbs.ddns.net:607 Hope I drove some traffic to the event tonight!

K3RLL - High noise level here on 40m this evening so stuck with 20m for my 27 minute blast of the ionosphere. As usual, RBN DX spots were far more numerous than domestic but happy to squeeze out ten contacts in shifting band conditions.

K9NUD - Nice to be back after missing May due to travel. I had to cut it short tonight due to surgery in the morning. Great to hear lots of familiar calls!

AB8SV - tnx for the contacts, had some key issues and had to tighten screws, thanks for the patient ops!

W5WIL - 40 was pretty rough. Datong FL2 filter with TS-50v provided a few contacts. Hope to have an 80 dipole for next month. Not sure how QRPp will go next week...72

    WB1GYZ - 20 faded fast. 40 was good tonite. 80 kinda dead.

WG8Y - Hi all, Only worked a few Q's while tinkering on another project. Caught WY & OK on 20m Then worked a few more on 40M. Still fun to work some of the NAQCC guys. 72 from N.C. Mark WG8Y

NQ2W - As usual, another fine NAQCC Sprint. Only played on 20 and 40 and both bands were in fairly decent shape. Only had a limited amount of time but that time was filled with QSOs. Very enjoyable! Thanks for the contacts and the opportunity to participate. 72, Will, NQ2W

N0MII - This is still one of my all-time favorite contests :-) Had fun trying to get K7EK in the log - we kinda chased each other around the band!

    WD9EGW - My first Sprint. 72, Chuck

K3EMS - 40 meters was the place to be- lots of very strong signals punching through the QSB and noise. Used my portable set-up- Mountaintopper 4b, ZM-2 tuner. Looking forward to next months Sprint.

K7EK - Lots of excellent activity this evening. 40m was the place to be.

N4MJ - Another fun evening. Welcome several new stations. Thanks to ALL participants. 73 de n4mj

KC5F - Very slow on 20m to start, but 40m was hopping with good signals. Glad I stuck with it and was able to get a call from Fred, DK1VD, too. A couple of 80m QSOs at the end, for a good final number of QSOs and multipliers. Lots of fun! Thanks, all!

VE2KZW - Good start on 20m; my signal was getting quite far into Europe and West to AZ and UT from QC. Closer range on 40m of course. Thank you for the QSOs and your patience. 72, Robert VE2KZW

K9QEW - Resisted to 20 meter ops only. Band gave out after one hour. 72/73s Daryl

KN1H - Based on recent experience I had very low expectations for this Sprint, but surprise! All three bands were in good shape with low noise and actual propagation. How un-summer-solstice like! Looking forward to seeing everyone next week in the QRPp. 72, John, KN1H

K9DRP - Missed the last several sprints. Gud to get back. Ran the Argo V tonight. Took into the first half hour to get the logger to read correct frequency (new installation). Most QSO's on 40 with most signals at 579, so band was good for me tonight. Thanks for the QSO's! 72 Don

KC3RN - 40m was in decent shape here. Got to use my newly acquired Argonaut VI for the entire sprint. I've only had it a few days, but I really like it. All in all, a fun sprint.

N0TA - Started late, quit early! Thanks for the Q's.

WD4OHD - Got a late start tonight, but the 40m band was very cooperative. Some strong signals from the states surrounding Tennessee. A tougher circuit into NY and New England. Nothing heard west of Missouri. A productive hour, all things considered.

N3CAA - Condx weren't too bad on 40m although there was some QSB at times. All QSOs were on 40m; 20m was dead. Sorry K1SN for the broken contact, you asked a question but didn't quite get it through the QSB. Good time as always and hope to make next month's sprint, work travel schedule permitting.

AF4PX - Bands seem to be ok tonight, Good to work an elmer K4BAI

KN2G - I modified my QRPBuilder KX single lever paddle which I use as a sideswiper. I traded out the supplied stainless steel lever for a .010 feeler gauge shortened and spot soldered with 4% silver solder for the contacts. The new lever is much more supple and I don't push the KX2 around when sideswiping now. The solder spots made the key much less crunchy when keying as well. It will take at least next week before I get it smooth I suspect. I loitered on 20 to get WY which I believe is a first and I just got my 50th sprint so a very fulfilling time! See you in the MW next week!

K4KRW - Fun night. It was nice to get to work the entire event for a change. I got contacts on 20, 40 and 80. Thanks everyone!

WB9HFK - I used the J-37 this evening. All 40M. Thanks for the QSO's and see everyone next time! 72, Mark WB9HFK

N7KM - I only got to operate for 13 minutes. I had setup well in advance then life happened. From my brief participation I could tell the bands were great tonight. Was using my KX3 at 5 Watts and an old WWII J-37. Thanks to those who stayed around till the last minute so I could at least enjoy four exchanges.

N2TNN - Thunder crashes on 40 made it interesting but 80 was ripping. All fun again 73, Dean

K1SN - First sprint in a very long time....it was fun!

KK4ITX - Now operating from Maine. Running a QCX-Mini so just on 20m, band was in good shape. Found my XYL's iPad charger was emitting RFI, after unplugging the signals magically appeared!!

WX4RM - Had no luck on 20M, most contacts made on 40M, only 1 on 80M. Conditions here made for a rough night, I think I need younger ears :)

NF8M - Op time 15 min, remote operation. 20 was weak & noisy so started on 40. Nice sigs around the midwest.

NN3E - Thanks everyone for the fine Sprint tonight .. 40 was hopping 72 Kevin NN3E

KM3D - I had almost forgotten how much fun this was! Heard many remembered callsigns and contacted some. Very enjoyable thanks to all. Hope to see you again next week. 72
