Dear Type I Diabetic and Insulin Pump User:

I had posted this approximately two weeks ago and have had some great
input and advice from many of your group members (thank you very much
to those that have already spoken or are scheduled to speak!) but we
still need approximately 7 more individuals.

I am currently working with a life sciences corporation that is
developing new and innovative insulin pumps which have the potential
to quickly become a market leader and make treatment for your Type 1
diabetes much easier, safer, and efficient. In order to determine
exactly those types of pumps to be developed and manufacturer first,
they are looking for opinions from you to understand your current
treatment and how you would view these new devices. The study would
be composed of a brief, one-page survey (which should take no longer
than 5 minutes to complete), followed by a 25-30 minute recorded
telephone conversation. For this 30-35 minute study, I can offer a
$75 honorarium either in the form of an online Amazon e-gift certicate
(which will be processed immediately after the conversation) or by a
regular check (which would take 7-10 business days).

To qualify for this study, you must:

- Be a current insulin pump user who is also knowledgeable of other
insulin pump offerings on the market
- Have seen an endocrinologist or primary care physician for treatment
of your diabetes in the past year.
- Also, if you are a parent of a Type 1 Diabetic, we would like to
speak with you as well.

Please let me know if you would be interested and available anytime
until November 28th from 8am to 7pm Eastern time Monday through Friday
(until 6pm on Fridays) (please let me know what specific time works
best for you). I will send a toll-free conference number,
confirmation of time, descriptions and pictures of the product
concepts, and the short survey that can be completed and returned at
your convenience.

The only dates that are not available are:

November 22-23
