You don't need to do anything.

There is no such thing as "nodelist police", just a couple of dutch twats.

If you want your nodelist flags or other details of your nodelist entry changed your NC or RC will need to do that.

When's the last time you saw a BARK file request? :)

As others have said, it's informational, and I've used their research
to clean up my nodelist segment, but they're in no way "police". Just
a couple of guys who have more time to pore over standards docs than I
    do.

We, as a ZC and NCs, could all start messing with our segments just to
mess with them - lord knows, if an entire segment changed their modem
speed to 19200 while sporting an IBN flag and unpublished number, we
might be able to hear the gasps on this side of the pond. :)

If you want your nodelist flags or other details of your nodelist entry
    hange
your NC or RC will need to do that.

That answers the second half of his question.

However, it doesn't answer whether or not XA is appropriate for a
Synchronet BBS, or if it should be XW.

From what I can tell, that is what the "police" are after him for. ;)

ummm... what does tickit, a TIC file processor, have to do with File REQuests? ;)

I would guess that is a question for the nodelist police. IIRC, tickit has little do do with FREQ requests, but I am not qualified to be a member of
the nodelist police so what would I know. ;)

Oh, right. I meant FreqIt, I think.
