I think I presented the description of the echo in the spirit for which it was intended - that is, no serious original literary works.

But.. some people might feel perfectly fine posting something they want to eventually publish officially.

Maybe a series of subechos might work for different genres:

WRITING.ROMANCE
WRITING.SCIFI
WRITING.POETRY
WRITING.GENFIC etc..?

Or maybe participants can add a suitable prefix in the Subject line of this echo until further expansion is warranted:

Eg.

Subj: [scifi] ipsum florum
Subj: [genfic] ipsum florim
Subj: [rom] ipsum florum
Subj: [poetry] ipsum florum ..etc..?
