Looks like the uprade has taken hold. It will probably require some adjusting but so far so good.

Could it be any fresher?
What is the reason/cause for this obsession with having the
newest possible kernel?
What does it do that the previous one didn't do for you?

It keeps me off the streets where gangs of old men gather on the street corner looking for their next fix of metamucil. Very scary. I know because I am their leader.

The previous one, which was running the show up to this morning, was vmlinuz-6.7.1. Given the short run of 6.10.6 I am unable to answer
this question as further time is required.
before you'll give 6.10.6 a long enough run to know, you'll have
upgraded to the next new one.
