BBBS uses whatever you have it set to. UTF-8 is not one of the choices currently. The documentation says utf8 support has begun but it isn't complete.

Anyhow setting the "Settings" from ISO to IBM has no effect no matter what client I use or what it's settings are.
It looks like a mess to me.
I'd like to drop all of that and go with utf8
What about all these retro systems. Is utf8 doable for them.
