    IBMPC is obsoleted by http://ftsc.org/docs/fts-5003.001

    There is no TZUTC kludge.

I am trying to find an alternative message editor to timEd for OS/2. I'm trying to figure out a way in the meantime to insert the TZUTC kludge; perhaps I can come up with a .cmd file that runs after the message is created to insert it. As far as the IBMPC kludge I have commented it out in the config file - let's see if that works.

BTW, I went looking for GoldEd for OS/2 but it's last rendition was from the year 2000 and I'm not sure that would be any better than timEd... But such a minor glitch as an obsolete kludge and a missing time zone should not break FidoNet - at least the rest is in good order, including the proper date format.

    Best regards,
    Marc

    I wouldn't bother...

    Checkout: http://download.golded.org/os2/

It has recent versions for OS2

Okay, I went and downloaded the most current version of GoldEd... Only problem with it is that it comes with NO sample config file and NO documentation relative to it that I can find. If you or someone else here has info on the configuration of the program, I'd sure appreciate any info. A reply either here on in NetMail would be great!
