I thought i had my netmail configured just fine, but when i tried to send a netmail recently to someone in Fidonet Zone1 from my Node in Zone2, i got this

BINKOUT Running native timed event: ?binkit
    BINKOUT BinkIT/2.42 invoked with options:
BINKOUT Attempting callout for 1:123/9999@fidonet, file: /.../data/fido/outbound.001/007b270f.cut
BINKOUT JSBinkP/4 callout to 1:123/9999@fidonet started
BINKOUT Connecting to 1:123/9999@fidonet at f9999.n123.z1.binkp.net:24554 BINKOUT Connection to f9999.n123.z1.binkp.net:24554 failed (Error: Name or service not known).
BINKOUT Timed event: '?binkit' returned 0

so i had expected it to connect to my zone2 uplink and deliver the netmail or crash the netmail directly to the zon1 node, but it didn't.

how do i get the routing right, so my netmail to a zone1 node gets routed through my zone2 uplink?

or is it about the fidonet nodelist and the zone1 node is not yet in the nodelist and otherwise would the netmail been crashed directly to the zone1 node?

First, 1:129/9999 is not, and never will be a connectable node. It's usually only used for testing with an applicant to the *C, and that's it.

Try changing the Status to "Normal" instead of "Crash" for your 1:ALL and 2:ALL linked nodes.
