I'm able to quote his message with SlyEdit; not seeing any problems here.. It looks like we're using the same version of SlyEdit, too (the headers show you're using SlyEdit 1.90b Ice style).

Weird. I wasn't able to quote any of kk4qbn's text in my previous message - it just didn't show up in the quote selection box - however I was able to quote the quoted text from his message.

I went back and checked that message and it is a possibility that I was using just the regular line editor to write the original message to DM, that could be the issue. I don't know why it would be, but I don't think

What does QWK prepack do?
Allows a sysop to have their system preemptively create QWK packets for specific users (e.g. QWKnet nodes), nightly.
Once upon a time, creating a QWK packet took a measurable amount of time (exporting the messages to QWK format, zipping the messages into a .QWK file), and QWKnet nodes might want to save those long-distance
phone charges and have their packet already created and waiting for them when they made their once-a-day phone-modem call to their QWKnet hub to upload their replies (from the day before) and download their
new
messages in a QWK packet. I doubt anybody needs this optimization any more.
I have one dial up user that still uses a QWK offline reader. Hopefully they won't be impacted by this change ... ?
If you've never heard of Pre-packed QWK, then you're not using the feature and >your dial-up user won't know if it's removed. I believe this to be true of >every other Synchronet system too.

Are your other JS files up to date? SlyEdit uses dd_lightbar_menu.js (in exec/load) for the quote selection box - I have made updates to that to

They're all of the same vintage, which is about two weeks ago. If you've fixed something since then I wouldn't have it yet, but I'll update soon.
I have mixed feelings about the flashy features in SyncTERM today too...
