  • getimlst error

    I've recently moved my Synchronet BBS to a new server. I've
    re-installed from scratch and then copied over all of the relevant
    files. When I signed in I was alerted to some errors regarding
    getimlist. I found the reference to this in /sbbs/ctrl/xtrn.ini in the
    section [event:getimlst]. I didn't or at least don't recall adding
    anything custom. What is / was getimlst? Was that an old module that
    is no longer included / needed in the latest version of the software? Or
    did I goof something up and need to get that module and get it working? -JustMike

    Are you using Linux or Windows?
    I know if you're using like Win32 like I do, It's better just to upgrade.
    I just recently upgraded from 3.19 to 3.20b and it actually solved the only error I was getting.

    It gets the sbbsimsg.lst file from Vertrauen daily and places it in your ctrl directory. This file is needed for inter-bbs instant messaging:

    getimsg.src/bin was removed from the repo and that timed event (by default) now uses wget.js instead:
