    If any sysops have a ctrl/dsts.ini file with a "Date" key value of "never", can you do me a favor and let me know:

    1. What version of Synchronet you're running and whether or not that was an upgrade from a previous version of Synchronet
    2. Please paste the entire contents of your dsts.ini file here, or at least (at minimum), the root section which contains the "Date" and "lastwrite" values.

    I haven't been able to reproduce a scenario where this file will contain the Date=never value, so I'm wanting to see more clues about how/why that may happen to some sysops.

    Date=Sep 1 2025

    I dont have the "Date=never" and my Sync has only been upgrades, from when I started using it (since CVS days dont know what version that might have been), FWIW.

    grep gives the same results here.

    I don't know if mine has "always" been upgrades, but it has been for quite
    a while - by CVS and now git.
