• FTSC Election

From Nick Boel@1:154/10 to All on Sat Feb 22 10:09:02 2025

    Hey All!

The FTSC election is in progress, and there's a couple weeks left for RCs to cast a vote.

Does anyone have any input/issues or thoughts on the nominees? Personally, I think they are all way over-qualified for the role of possibly doing nothing for the next couple years. But, I digress. Either way, I don't see any reason so far to vote no for any of them, unless any of you want to change my mind. ;)

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,
    Nick

Nominees can be seen, debated, and discussed with in the FTSC_PUBLIC echo, available to everyone. Here are the nominees:

    ----------------------------------------------
    | Name | Node nr | Yes| No |
    |----------------------|-------------|----|----|
    | Deon George | 3:633/509 | | |
    | Andrew Leary | 1:320/219 | | |
    | Tim Schattkowsky | 2:2/29 | | |
    | Jason Bock | 1:267/310 | | |
    ----------------------------------------------

All of these nominees are current developers of FTN related software, if you didn't already know.

    Deon - clrghaus
Andrew - MBSE, makenl, probably many others, and current FTSC chair.
    Tim - Winpoint
    Jason - Proboard

There's probably more things most of them were involved with, but these are the most current that are still maintained that I know of.

There is two weeks (Sat, March 8) before the voting time expires.

    Regards,
    Nick
