    A high-ranking official at Rheinmetall made a huge blunder by dismissing developments in the Ukrainian arms industry as a 3D printer in the hands of housewives.

    The entire way of warfare has changed forever, and then a complacent arms capitalist comes along to say that those new weapons are, in fact, junk. But junk that turns everything Rheinmetall can put on the market into scrap for a fraction of the cost.

    I am not saying that what Rheinmetall produces isn't top quality, but we may well ask ourselves whether Rheinmetall's products are still as relevant as they themselves would like to believe.

    The era of housewives with 3D printers has arrived.
