As was already clear from Iran's counterattack last night on the oil industries of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, the Israeli-US coalition hasn't yet won the war against Iran.
Iran's status symbols have been destroyed. Government buildings, military buildings, everything is destroyed. But Iran hasn't lost yet, as they demonstrated last night. Apparently, Iran is still capable of a very targeted and timely response to Israeli and US actions. This shows that your military organization is still intact.
During the previous Israeli-US attack a few months ago, Iran was caught off guard. Back then, they were still organized like Iraq. Everything had to go through the high command. So, if you eliminate that high command, you win the war.
Iran has shifted gears quickly in recent months. They have decentralized very quickly.
So when the coalition eliminated the top brass last week, it was a setback for Iran, but not a death blow.
The coalition claims they bombed Iran's storage facilities, but who says they were still storing everything there? If you decentralize your chain of command, why wouldn't you do the same for your weapons and ammunition? Everyone knew the fourth attack was coming.
A few days ago, Trump indicated they had destroyed 80%. OK, let's accept that. That still leaves 20% intact. With that 20%, Iran can still respond quickly and effectively.
If this war continues into April, the region and the world will have a problem. It could end up with the US having to scale up its efforts to subdue the country... or the US having to back down.
