So... He's challenging things... Birthright citizenship... If the Supreme court sides with Trump, and it looks like it might, there will be MILLIONS of people pissed.

If you listen to Kash and or Pam talking over the past weeks you hear things like they have found this and that... They have caught and pressed charges on people who they have caught cheating. Pam and Kash have said they are going to go after the Illegals who vote in a Federal election.

The Republicans are thinking of Public investigations ti air out the evidence to the people.

If the Supreme Court says you can't redistrict based on skin color... The Democrats won't be voted into office for decades to come.

Well Pumpkin, they had their chance to codify this years ago... They could have passed a law through congress that would have taken care of this... BUT they wanted a wedge issue more than making it permanent.

@RonL, I know a DACA, I have talked about her a few times here. Her mother is legal now... she also has 2 brothers... 1 is now a citizen now and the other is now legal.

She was ~ 4 YO when her parents took her to the US. I see her issue, all she's ever really known is the US and now she's almost 30.

If ICE kicks down her door and deports her so be it... But I do think they should work on a solution.

I have talked about this in the past... and there should be something similar as a US solution.

Lets review...

You know I have a young daughter, she's 15. She holds 3 passports. She was born in the Dominican Republic (Passport 1). Because I'm the Baby Daddy and I'm a dual citizen of the US and Canada she received 2 more passports. #2 was Canada and then the US came in at #3.

Here's the point I want to make. In 2009 Canada made some changes to their Citizenship laws... and it is this... If you are born outside of Canada to at least 1 Canadian parent. You can be a citizen but your (My Daughter) Canadian Citizenship is not passed down to her children by birthright. Amanda's children will have to be born in Canada to be Canadian.

So, if she has children while in the US, they won't be Canadian, she'll have to file for them to immigrate to Canada... Unlike her other 2 citizenships they both carry birthright because of her status.

So... and here we go... I'll try to tie this up into a nice bow!!!

I don't know exactly the wording of the law, but its simple... There must be a way to help kids that were brought in when they were young and not reward their law breaking parents.

yup it could be... Trump has pulled 200+++ YO laws out of his bag of tricks to save America more than once before.

The solution maybe to end Birthright citizenship based on how the founders intended and not like how its become.

If you are born in the US you must have at least 1 parent that is a citizen or at least be a legal Green Card Holder... Something simple like that. Your mother just can't sneak in and pop a squat and make U a citizen.

BTW, I know of a family who in 1 application brought his entire family into the US.

Someone in that family went to the US legally years ago. He became wealthy living the dream... Something to do with manufacturing coat hangers... and he filed for his family to come.

All his brothers and sisters and all their children. If I recall there were 50 people in that application. They are all living in Arizona right now... working in the family business.

Nice story about a family. This process took years but they are together doing well and none are on food stamps.
