If you need help with this, or want a linux binary, please let me know.

If a binary file is available, why bother with the build process?

    It's not available.

There are countless linux machine/distributions/versions combinations. A statically linked binary build on one machine/distribution/version, doesn't always work on another. So that would be a trial and error process to create one. So it's probably easier to build an optimized version specific for your machine/distribution/version. Which would also be easier on your resources.

    Bye, Wilfred.

Btw: Your real name is broken.
