I am looking to switch one of my PCs to some flavor of Linux since it
can only run WIN10 (CPU keeps it from going to 11). I do use the PC for some gaming so looking for a distro that is easy to work with as I am still kinda a Linux noob. Some people were recommending Mint to use. Something that would help setup Windows based games using WINE or
whatever would be nice. Barry Davis Jr
But if it helps, someone I know wanted to move to Linux, and I put
Linux Mint on his machines.

Hi Barry,
I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I've had really good luck with Manjaro. As for running Windows games, have you
tried Proton with Steam? I've had good luck with that too, although I've only tried it for a few games. I don't play as much as I used to. But it worked with AOE, Dealer's Choice, and StarCraft II.

I mainly play World of Warcraft and still thinking about going to Linux Mint cuz I am getting tired of MS sneaky stuff. I know some of the
other games I have I can use via Steam.
