If I write a post to disk file with <ALT W> to \blabla it does not end up as \blabla in my root C:\ directory. It shows up somewhere on my computer as blabla. I have to use a search utility to find it.

Does not matter. The problem seems to be that Golded expects the path I give in <ALT W> to begin with a directory. If I give a path that actually starts with a directory it works fine.
