Aftershock is a very interesting product, certainly for point-operators, even on smartphone. I've used and still have it active on a tablet (which I haven't looked at since 2019)...

Sometimes the convenience checking / reading / replying to echos on my smartphone is quite nice.

I like the idea that fidonet can be on a small device with me instead of limiting it to a desktop or laptop at home.

You can use Newstap on a iPhone and connect to any BBS that supports NNTP & fidonet.

The lite version is free.
