    Dmitry,

    - How about making the header of a message have a slightly different colour from the message body? Maybe lightgray in white mode, darkgray in black mode...

    For the vertical split mode:

    - The divider that separates the message list from the message itself does not stand out (for me at least). Maybe add blank lines above and below it, like in HotdogEd? And maybe change it to another colour as well? (in HotdogEd it is blue).

    - On my phone the message list takes up approximately 1/4 of the screen. I find it a little too short. Maybe 1/3 (as I see in HotdogEd), or somewhat adjustable...?

    I've just finished this part (it's now adjustable), but color changes make me think that color theme support is really needed. I'll need some time to think about that.
