Hello All!
FidoMail Mobile 0.1.0+37 is an NNTP fix pack. The trigger was a
field report: posts always went out as "Point", with no place to
put your name.
- Server settings now show the "Your name (From line)" field for
NNTP and IMAP servers too, so your posts carry your name.
- New "Browse server list" in the add-group dialog: fetches the
server's newsgroup catalogue, filters as you type, and adds
several ticked groups in one go.
- Replies fetched from FTN-over-NNTP gateways now thread properly
(they used to show as separate topics).
- Your own post no longer comes back as new unread mail: it lands
in the echo already read, with no notification.
- A failed article fetch no longer loses that article forever -
the next syncs retry it.
- The Personal group now exists on NNTP servers too, collecting
mail addressed to your name.
