Nick you have no idea the rabbit hole I went down over the last week or 2. During the initial setup can you populate the fido areas by importing the backbone or do they just populate as new messages come in??

Go ask Alice..... when she's ten feet tall.......

You can add areas automatically when they come in, assign them whatever group access you want via Config - Packet/Mail - Add Areas From.

If you need to globally update descriptions, you can use DBUTIL DESCFILE.

ie. DBUTIL DESCFILE FIDONET.NA will import FIDONET.NA descriptions to the matching areas.

A quick fyi, the Setup Wizard currently does not import areas during installation.......................................... yet.
