[...] I was invited with a few others back to her place
for an after-party, and then she asked me to stop back in
the next day.
The twin wasn't there at the after-party?
No, probably out on another date of her own..
When I stopped at her place the door was opend by her(?)..
no that's not her(!), so I asked if she was home. The
girl's mouth dropped open, and she said, 'Um.. just a
minute..', and then the lady I was there to see came to
the door.
Well.. you paid attention to "something" the first time to know
>that you were looking at someone else! Good on you!
Yes, I suppose so. I never could figure out why others couldn't
see the difference between them. A little later they got an
apartment together and I used to spend some nights there.
It was a one bedroom place with twin beds, but when I stayed over
the sister would sleep on the couch to give us some privacy.
Funny, they both used to sleep in the nude and, occasionally,
when I had to leave for work early the next morning, I'd come
out before either of them was awake to head off.
Sometimes the sister sleeping on the couch would not be fully
covered and I used to joke that I knew better than most they
were not 'identical' twins.. B)
I was with her for 4 1/2 years..
Sounds like a good run.
Yes, I often wondered how things would have gone if I'd married
her instead of the next one.. She had a wicked temper when she
got riled up, although almost never with me. But she had her
issues. She rarely could hold a job for more than a few weeks,
also probably due to her temper, but I guess you grow up tough
when you're small. She was only 4' 9", although built like a
little Barbie doll. (37, 21, 31) The bikers in the custom shops
where I was building my motorcycles loved her.. But I digress..
Tough.. one late night she came out of an apartment building
after visiting someone and some guy tried to attack her in the
parking lot. When he went to grab her from behind, she ducked
and spun around and kicked him between the legs, and then,
when he bent over, in the side of the head and left him laying
on the ground. She rushed home and told me what had happened,
and she was worried she might have killed him. I told her it
wasn't likely, and if she did, it was his own fault.
No bodies showed up in the papers the next day so I assume
he survived.. and hopefully learned something.. B)
