Moin Leute!

Ich habe gerade ein Update gemacht und einen reboot ausgelöst. Nach dem einloggen ist mir in ps ein /etc/rc autoboot Prozess aufgefallen, welchen ich mit Suchmaschine auf einen Teil der rc Mechanismen zurückführen konnte.

Da läuft unter anderem auch ein fsck. Meine Frage ist nun, ist autoboot "reboot" fest?

Ich habe nämlich wegen einer anderen Ungereimtheit gleich noch einen reboot gemacht und nun die Befürchtung, dass ich damit den autoboot vorzeitig gekillt haben könnte.

This script runs fsck(8) with option -p and -F to "preen" all the disks

end of the booting process. If autoboot is not set, when going from

Mir scheint ich habe ein grundlegendes Verständnisproblem, denn ich habe aus Deinem Zitat nicht die Antwort auf meine Frage entnehmen können. Dafür habe ich nach einem Blick in man rc vielleicht eine bessere Frage.

Ist hier mit automatic boot etwa der eigentlich "normale" Bootvorgang gemeint?

Wenn ja, dann ist mir klar, dass abgebrochene rc scripte beim nächsten Start wieder erneut ausgeführt werden.

Wenn nein, dann verstehe ich autoboot als besonderen Trigger, der durch eine Bedingung gesetzt wird und bei reboot gestartet wird. Die Frage lautet dann, wann wird der Trigger wieder auf aus gesetzt, wenn die rc scripte gestartet wurden, oder wenn sie alle sauber beendet wurden?
