When I get a chance, I watch a few episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space 9. It wasn't that interesting back in the day, maybe because it focuses more on character development than the scifi/space stuff, but I'm actually kinda into it these days. Anyway, episode 101, which is I think the 5th episode in season 5, is called Looking For Parmach In All The Wrong Places. It's about Quark the Ferengi 'courting' his Klingon ex-wife, which IMO made for a pretty good story. At the same time, there's a side plot of O'Brian and Nerys trying to hide their feelings since he's married and she's carrying his baby! IMO it's a good one to watch even if you're not going in order or watching the rest of them or anything.
A couple of my favorite episodes of DS9 are "Trials and Tribble-Ations" and "Take Me Out to the Holo-Suite". I also like the episodes in the holo-suite with Vic Fontaine. I'd since learned that the actor who played Vic Fontaine James Darren, was an actual singer in real-life who sung the same type of music.
I loved seeing the development of Nog from comedy relief sidekick to Jake Sisko to a really engaging, emotional character. His story arc with Vic was great.
RIP Aron Eisenberg.
