I've finally got around to writing up the analogue computer I have
    designed for de-clicking and de-crackling 78s.

Obviously it is not the answer to every type of evil that turns up on
old records but on really noisy UK pressings (particularly 1930s HMVs)
it does a pretty impressive job.

Now the circuit is more-or-less finalised, it would be relatively easy
to have some boards made, but building the prototype by hand took a long
time and a lot of patience. If anyone is interested in building one for themselves, I am happy to give them all the help I can - but I
definitely don't fancy building another one myself.
