I haven't worked with PCBoard, but apparently IceEdit changed ownership at some point, and there are a couple newer versions (2.40 and 2.41) under the name QuikEdit. I had set up both on my BBS, and it seems QuikEdit behaves better than IceEdit with my Synchronet Linux setup using dosemu2. I have a couple of download links on my BBS:
Darnit - I always hijack threads... can IceEdit be used w/ Mystic??? I would love that. :P
Previously, we had talked about writing an IceEdit clone in MPL - so I don't think so.

I'm not a Mystic/MPL expert, but I wonder why it couldn't be done? Would be awesome if it was built as a door program (like IceEdit) with compatibility with modern BBS systems. Would def. require custom scripting for each BBS and ways to inject the message into the db, etc.
