If the US Supreme Court overturns Trump's import tariffs today, companies seeking refunds must apply by February 6th. In that case, many of the imposed duties will have to be repaid to the companies, and the Trump administration's budget will be completely depleted. The current budget
is reportedly $200 billion, potentially requiring repayment.
His tariffs have only hurt American firms and households. Up here in Canada, we are just exporting products overseas more with little impact.

economic policy is more globally disruptive than a lot of people are taking into account.
