Title: Dhogla (Steamed Chickpea Cakes)

2 c Chickpeas; cooked, ground
1 Box Malt-O-Meal
1 Box corn meal
2 c Yogurt
3/4 c Ghee
3 c Water
3 Zucchini; shredded
3 tb Salt
2 tb Cayenne or chiles
7 Hot green peppers
Fresh ginger (3")
1/2 ts Baking powder
2 c Fresh cilantro leaves
3 c Grated coconut
4 tb Raw peanuts
2 ts Chiles
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Cumin seed
Blend all ingredients together in a big bowl. Ghee a round cake pan
and pour about 1/2" of dhogla mix into the pan. Steam one cake pan at
a time in a large pot with another smaller pot inside it, upside
down. Put about 2 to 3" of water in the bottom of the steaming pot
and steam the dhogla. The dhogla will rise and pull away from the
sides of the pot when cooked. Takes 20 to 25 minutes.
