I'm hoping that a new generation of kids who like to write tire of video memes and 140 character blarts, and discover some of the long-form
social networks like LiveJournal.
Or, god help them, BBSes...
Or fanzines. Lovely little homemade publications on a topic of deep love and expertise, posted out to similarly minded souls. I used to buy a music magazine or three each month and there would be many of these advertised. Like a blog, but with soul.
