Is it anything like the unix/PC game Rogue?

Just curious: That node number hasn't been in the nodelist since May 2018. Are you returning to Fido?

    Bye, Wilfred.

Well according to the nodelist, your node didn't exist after may 2018. ;-)

If you think you are still a Fidonet node, you should contact your NC: 1:229/0 Jay Harris, and get your nodelist entry re-added.

Btw: Were you ever a node in AmigaNet? And do you want to maybe join? ;-)

    Bye, Wilfred.

Not sure why, I've been pulling my feeds from Pharcyde for years.... If I remember the person in charge dropped off or something??

How active is AmigaNet? I only ask because I have a few different message networks, some of which are not active.

That's not enough. If your node is not connectable (Pvt), you will also have to poll your Host, for netmail trafic.

You could also ask a (new) node nummer from Nick's net, but that means changing your config for the changed node number everywhere.

If I remember the person in charge dropped off or something??

In 2018 your NC was Nick Andre, the current ZC. He hasn't dropped off! ;-)

Jay became the NC for net 229 in 2021. By that time you were long gone from the nodelist, so he couldn't have known your node was still active.

Not very. Besides the weekly BBS and daily File announcements, maybe a bit more trafic then what you will find in this area.

    Bye, Wilfred.

    Yes there is: https://amiganet.vlzn.nl/index.php/downloads/download/2-amiganet-files/2-amiganet-infopack

But just contact 2:250/2 Neil Williams, he is the UK region coordinator for AmigaNet, and he can give you a node number and link.

    Bye, Wilfred.

    I'm not following.

Can you lay out the instructions on what I need to do to get this corrected?

Get in contact with the Host of your network: 1:229/0 Jay Harris

And setup a link with him. He should be able to provide you with the details.

Can you send a direct crash mail to his system? And make sure to include your email address, because he can't send netmail back to you.
If you can't I can give him your email address? So he can contact you...

    Bye, Wilfred.
