HI there, I just came to this BBS (mojos - bbs) that is out of Jackson Michigan and stopped by because I have been learning how bbs work. So yeah, there are people around it looks like, though it is not as
popular as they were obviously from back in the era that the bbs was around.

What was the first bbs that you called in 79? Just curious. I started to called bbs'es in 1985 and believe the first system I called into was a CompuServe multi-line system. It was shrotly after claling into CompuServe that a friend of mine that worked at a local Radio Shack printed me out my first bbs list to start calling.

I was lucky - when I was on Compuserve, my company had a support forum
on it, and we got 5 free, unlimited accounts to play with. I was
75300,1375 for many years.
In the Windows 3.1 era, there were nice GUI clients like WinCIM that
made it a little more user-friendly.
